Stopped in here on a Saturday without a reservation and I was not sure if we would be able to get a table. We were early enough that it was not a problem and I was so glad we were able to eat here! I love Aladdin's and this restaurant is somehow owned by the same family. Some items are the same or similar, but this is the upscale version. First of all the restaurant rooms are charming. In the former Crop space on West 6th they have made it look kind of Middle Eastern and mystical. Really lovely decor. I had the shish lamb which came with Lebanese rice and grilled vegetables. Excellent! My friend had the shish chicken which was made with lemon and served with the same rice and vegies. It was her first time at Taza and she said it was one of the best meals she has ever had! So yummy---can't wait to go back. Glad there is another Taza at Eton in Woodmere so it is close to home.
