Zack Bruell has another hit! Took a friend for a birthday lunch - what a great place to celebrate! Sat outside. The waiter was knowledgeable, just the right amount of attention. And the food was delicious! We'd go back for all 3 dishes we tried: fennel salad so delicate and refreshing, seafood cannelloni with a smooth, rich cream sauce, and the Pasticcio with radicchio - yum! 4 kinds of cheese, pasta, radiccho all under the broiler for a lasagna-like dish with a little bit of a bite and crunch. Wonderful!!

Modern Italian fare like pan fried artichoke hearts for appetizers to olive stuffed swordfish. Many meat and/or oasta dishes to choose from. The sourdough bread they serve with olive oil is absolutely delicious! A unique menu. Many entrees are available in a petit or regular portion! Prices range from $18-$24. Located on E 4th Street, one of downtown Cleveland's happening districts.

When it comes to great food, local chef Zack Bruell is a legend here in Cleveland .If you like inventive Italian cuisine and hand crafted cocktails - this is the place. If you want chicken parm -stick with Olive Garden. Great location - 4th in downtown Cleveland. In the summer this closed off brick street takes on a fun outdoor patio feel - with many neighboring restaurants rolling out the potted plants and outdoor tables. -Close to theater, concert halls, the casino. The Cleveland Indians and Cavs are just a short walk away.

What a beautiful, authentic, gem of a restaurant. We were delighted by the truly unique menu - foods we have only seen and eaten in Italy. I would highly recommend the octopus salad, the grilled sardines, the rolled eggplant appetizer, the mussels, the pasta with the slow roasted pork shoulder and the lamb stew. We ordered many, many appetizers, salads and entrees and nothing disappointed. We were celebrating our wedding with family and this dinner could not have been more perfect. The service was exceptional and the servers knew everything about the menu, offering suggestions and opinions. Exceptional wine and drink selections also.

Don't bother with a reservation.Sit in the bar and take the recommendation of the fine bartenders for food, wine and dessert! Fab sweetbreads with pasta and lemon gelato with lemon polenta cake! To die for. So good, I forgot to take a picture. Savor every bite!
