the bar has a very nice Belgian beer selection, as well as a selection of US brews. Downstairs at the Speakeasy they have a cocktail bar which is decent as well.

The food is high quality, with some specialty pizza and charcuterie.

I had a sandwich here and fries. The food was out in a flash and the service was great. The barkeeper was friendly and conversational. A great place for a casual meal.

Not the place to go for your Bud Light Lime. Nothing against that beer, it's just that this place goes way beyond other place that have 'lots and lots of beers'. I've had my share of skanky micro brews with semi-clever names, so having a few of these sublime brews at the Bier Markt was well worth the $6 valet.

Dinner for 4 was reasonably fast and very tasty. Each dish was prepared per each group member's oddly particular tastes. This is the second time I've been here (first was strictly liquid) and it's a great option for the Ohio City area. Particularly if you like well made, often high ABV beers.

I'm a major beer hound, OK, I'm a beer snob. That said, the Bier Market is a must stop for any visitor to Cleveland and worth a stop if you are passing through.

The selection of Belgian and Belgian style beers is unsurpassed.

The food, comes from the partner Wine Bar, Bar Cento and is excellent. A small but very good menu has something for everyone, and is a cut above. My favorite is the Mushroom pizza, single person sized, it is a hand-tossed crust with portabello mushrooms, leeks and Mahon cheese. Just an example of a "cut above" ingredients brought together to make for a unique and pleasing dining experience. My wife and daughter enjoyed the handmade ravioli prepared in a white sauce with corn and bacon chunks that had a delightful "foam" on the top. The ravioli were remarkably tender and all the pasta is made freshly.

There is always a pasta, seafood and meat special, and frankly, just choosing between one of the specials is hard enough without perusing the rest of the small but again very interesting menu.

The two bars, beer and wine, sit side by side and are joined streetside by a front which is a converted entranceway to an old time department store, making it suitable for both intimate dining and large groups. Outside seating along the street is also available.

I have visited numerous times over the last few years and I cannot say enough about the value, quality and service.

Nice atmosphere but waited 30 minutes for a server to approch our table after we sat ourselves. Waited another 10 minutes after receiving a menu and she didn't return to take our order so we left. Not waiting 40+ minutes for a $15 drink... won't be back. It didn't seem overly busy, maybe 50 or so patrons and a half dozen bartenders chatting amongst themselves behind the bar.
