I love when establishments save old buildings. While it's painted on the outside, you can see the old bricks from the inside. There's a long bar down one side, booths across from it, and tables in the back. Trendy music was playing, but not so loud you needed to shout. Though, perhaps when the place is full, you may need to raise your voice. There's also an outside area with a fire pit. Too cold to check out when we were there.
The Tap House serves better than average bar food, including duck and lamb. Everything we ordered was great and the husband was impressed with their beer selection. Our waitress was nice. Not waitress-y nice, working for a tip, but honestly a kind person.
Looking forward to trying out more of their menu selections.
