“The Titanic Exhibition”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

The Great Lakes Science Center is a gem in Cleveland. It's a great place to take kids. But, the current exhibition of Titanic artifacts was disappointing. It showed lots of dinnerware, a few personal items of passengers and the iceberg warning bell. I guess I expected more since thousands of items have been recovered. The manifest at the end was impressive...it showed who survived and who didn't. But overall, it wasn't a fascinating display.

“Great Place!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

My husband and I went here over the Labor Day Weekend specifically to see the Titanic Exhibit. We really enjoyed it! They had all sorts of artifacts and stories to go along with them. They also had a 3-D video of the Titanic on the floor of the ocean that was very interesting. It felt like you were actually there. We also had our pictures taken as they do at most attractions. When we viewed them, one of them was at the railing in the front of the ship and the other we were on the steps of the grand staircase. The pictures were great so we bought both of them. They also have other exhibits that are very good. You will enjoy your trip here, check it out!

“Don't miss The Mather”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

The Science Museum is very nice. Many fun things to do.The Titanic Exhibit was just OK. We enjoyed it somewhat but had I saved the money and not gone I would be good with that. A girl pretending to be a passenger on the Titanic was a very good actress and we enjoyed visiting with her. The William G Mather Ore boat was the best. You will really enjoy a tour aboard the Mather. Check out the engine room. The Mather is outside north of the Science Museum The Titanic Exhibit is inside the Science Museum but has a additional price. You can buy tickets for all of them as well as the IMax inside at the Science Museum box office.

“Over Priced Arcade..”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

It was a big waste of time and money! Over half of the exhibits were down or out of order or you needed an employee but good luck on finding one of them. There was nothing educational about any of it in truthfulness! It was an over priced arcade. We made it through all the whole thign in like 35 minutes!

Only good thing was the movie, Hidden space!

“Boring! Boring! Boring!!!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Should have warning on the door, For children only.....a colossal waste of money and time!!! Very expensive, many exhibits didn't work, and not interesting. The only thing with any interest at all was the Titanic exhibit. Very nice but was an extra charge on top of paying for the science center... also had IMAX theater for another additional price, but did not go there.
