I'm so glad we got a season pass because I'll never get tired of going. There's always something new to see and so much that one day just isn't enough. The highlight was the new Veterinary center that you can walk around in.

Brilliant place. Great place for families. Excellent exhibition of dinosaurs. Well laid out, did involve lots of walking but there was a little train and a bus to take toy around. Most of the enclosures were great, extensive, expect the bears, who showed classic signs stress. Tonnes of stuff for kids, camel rides, train and a petting area. Worth the visit.

The Cleveland Zoo can be a lot of fun. It encompasses a large area so it does involve a lot of walking. They could use more transportation options within the zoo. However, there is much to do and see there. The lake in the middle of the zoo was transformed into a dinosaur park with models of roughly 20 dinosaurs and a gift shop at the end. This was pretty cool to see, but does have an extra cost. The rainforest building is just outside the entrance and features a large waterfall. There are four major exhibit areas to the zoo. Kids will enjoy the playground, loorikeet landing and treehouse. My only complaint was the long lines at the ticket booth. They had about 8 windows open, but the lines were still long and slow and it took a half hour just to get in. Nonetheless, it was a memorable visit.

We were impressed with the variety of exhibits and animals at this zoo. It took us a good three hours to see everything. The Rainforest is especially memorable. I also enjoyed the veterinarian observation center, where guests are able to watch the zoo staff give the smaller residents regular check-ups. The vets were rotating through the monkeys on our visit. We didn't stick around to watch, but I think it is a neat option. First-time guests should be aware that there is quite a lot of walking involved, including several steep inclines and declines. All walkways are nicely landscaped, so we enjoyed the hike. But I was certainly glad that we had opted to bring the stroller! Though I think that the Cleveland Metroparks could be rated an excellent facility, our visit was slightly less than perfect due to the huge amount of people inside. We visited on a Monday, which happens to be the day that county residents are allowed in free. We had to contend with lots of daycare groups. (And probably as a result, the tram does not run on Mondays.) While this program is great for locals, paying guest may want to choose a different day of the week to visit.

wow! what a zoo!
very well laid out, and very clean. The habitats are excellent for the animals, with lots of grass/water/plants, etc for them (and we are very picky in terms of that - it is a must that there are those necessities).
Lots to see, and very easy to get around.
The staff is very freindly and knowledgeable, i would come back here for sure.
Great value for the family.
