The R&R HofF is worth a visit while in Cleveland. We spent the better part of a day there and enjoyed the exhibits -- though they seemed a little disorganized and the museum could use a makeover on organization and presentation.

Be prepared to spend awhile here. We only spent 4 hours there, could go back 4 more, and still not see everything. Don't let that stop you, it's well worth seeing if you like Rock, or just even American history.

This is a great museum for all music fans. It does have some drawbacks though. It is very crowded and will test your limits of patience. The displays are sometimes in awkward places so people get bottlenecked. The café is not good and the lines are long. Also be prepared to have to pay between $8-$10 to park on top of admission. You can get coupons in the visitor guides, and there is also a “Hall Pass” that gives you a combo ticket to the Football Hall of Fame as well.

The parking structure is a short walk to the actual building. Make sure you bring your parking ticket in with you and get it stamped to receive a 2 dollar discount on parking. Parking is 10 dollars but will be 8 dollars if you get your parking ticket stamped. It's a bit pricey to enter the museum but if you save your ticket and return the next day with your ticket you can get in at half price. The museum has about 6 floors to view. It's laid out kinda sketchy but very insightful. It's filled with clothing, instruments, records, music, theaters, pictures, music contracts, old music studios, wills, original music lyric sketches and a store to purchase souvenirs. Music is playing in different locations of the museum from all different eras. Plan to spend 2-3 hours at least or more to go through and read and view each exhibit. The night we were there they had a live band playing out on the front lawn. They were selling drinks out on the front lawn also. The museum is located right along the water. It's great for a evening stroll.
