Desk and maid service staff was friendly, very clean rooms, excellent pool, awesome views! The problem, the restaurant. We ate breakfast and got prefab microwaved bisquits and gravy, hard eggs after we said over easy, frozen microwaved hash browns, cheap sausage and weak coffee. The only thing made fresh was the pancake we added on. Service was lousy too. The lady acted like she was doing us a favor by serving us. She even stated to us she was bored.
The Lodge hosts conferences there on a regular basis, I have attended one. The food they get is excellent! We wanted to sneak into one to eat their delicous smelling food for breakfast! We highly recommend Salt Fork State Park, but don't waste your money or time on the restaurant. I threw 25 dollars down the drain to learn that lesson!
