It's a good place. Food has always been good. The atmosphere actually helps make the food better. No complaints. Always a good time.

My daughter goes to college just a few miles from the Welshfield Inn. Unfortunately, we didn't stumble upon it until the end of the academic year, but I am so glad we found it and will definitely be eating there again.

The inn is lovely. Not pretentious, simply pretty, relaxing and cozy. The food was great. And the service wonderful.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the Welshfield Inn open. We dined there often before the previous owners retired.
Under new management, the menu offerings are even better - truly first class and well worth our one-hour driving time. Last time I had the chopped salad and chicken piccata and my companions ordered seasonal fish dishes. All were prepared perfectly and tasted great. The wait staff has been very attentive and friendly whether we come for a special occasion or drop in for lunch on our way through the area.
We couldn't be more pleased with Welshfield Inn menu offerings and service and have highly recommended it to our friends.

We had our 1st date at Welshfield 30 yrs ago when the amish were on staff and food was served family style- loved it. It closed and reopened afew years later- was only passable. Then the present owners took it on and proceeded to give this place and the menu a fresh and yet classic- style bringing it up to date and fresh in every way- including amazing outdoor seating and acquiring the adjacent property and creating a beautiful banquet center- from a centuries old church. Tonite the service was top notch, food was also good. check it out.
