Description: "where the locals eat" Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant still serves a 75¢ cup of coffee and is one of the oldest established businesses in Berlin, Ohio. The restaurant is family-owned and has been in business since 1938. Our Amish cooks do a great job making home-style food you are sure to enjoy! We serve daily specials plus a large variety of homemade pies. Closed Sunday.

My daughter and I ate food from here 3 times during our 4 day stay in Amish Country. The place is small and always seems to have a line waiting to get in, so we got take-out. The roast beef is amazing. I did not care for the chicken, but seems to be a big favorite with the local crowd. The brown bag apple pie is delicious, but sells out early, real early. My daughter loved the date pudding. I definitely would eat from here again and would recommend to others.

The food was great. The seating was a little cramped and there was a wait to get in, but it was worth it.

You want authentic Amish cooking. This is it. Just don't eat for three days prior so you will have enough room for all of the food.

We were told to seat ourselves but the place was full. When we said there wasn't any seating, the Amish staff just looked at you without getting your name or telling you how long it might be. No dialogue at all, so we left. We wouldn't go there now if we had a free meal.

We stopped for dinner tonight and had an excellent meal. We had a fried chicken and roast beef dinner and were not disappointed. Great blackberry cobbler for dessert. We were out the door under $30. Placed was packed. Larger parties had to wait for tables to open but everyone was very friendly. Service was quick and efficient. Definitely a must stop in Amish country.
