Description: "where the locals eat" Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant still serves a 75¢ cup of coffee and is one of the oldest established businesses in Berlin, Ohio. The restaurant is family-owned and has been in business since 1938. Our Amish cooks do a great job making home-style food you are sure to enjoy! We serve daily specials plus a large variety of homemade pies. Closed Sunday.

I always eat breakfast here when I'm visiting the Ohio Amish area. I love the buckwheat pancakes and big sausages. Toast made with their homemade bread is great. They have at least a dozen pies available in the morning. I always pick up a couple slices after breakfast and take them back to the hotel for a late night snack. They close at 8 pm (as just about everything else here does) so I get my pie early before they sell out. The place is usually crowded for breakfast and you have to seat yourself. You can street park if you are lucky (Berlin is a popular tourist town) but there is quite a bit of parking in the back. If you park in the back you will have to walk up stairs as the area is built on a hillside which drops off in the back.

crowded at peak times, menu is simple country food. Good, wholesome. Homemade bread, pies are excellent. Breakfast, lunch best times to eat there.

The menu here was not as large as some of the other restaurants. However, the food was really good. I had a hot ham and cheese sandwich on homemade wheat bread. It was really good. I also had coconut cream pie and it was awesome.

This is a place we eat at everytime we're in Berlin. Mostly homemade food, good service, great pies and desserts. Be sure to bring cash...they don't accept credit cards!

Home cooking, Fast service. Breakfast was big. Parking was a little tricky, had to walk several blocks to restaurant.
