It is a little more expensive than your typical restaurant, but is also very much worth it. The menu is very unique and the wine list is second to none. Have eaten there multiple times and have never had the same dish twice and have yet to have anything that was less than perfect. Highly recommend.

The wait staff in good. Ramone is a treat. Mike (chef) makes a great lamb. The hostesses are very warm and friendly. The menu is diverse.
The Max bar is a great place to stop in and have a drink and great service

Food was out of this world!! The poached salmon is a dish I would return again for. Entrée, salad and a nice glass of wine runs you about $50-55 per person. The price point shown is not that accurate. Well worth the money and would return again!!!

Maxwell's serves up some of the best, most original food in town. They are a little expensive, but well worth the bucks for a special splurge. Their Thursday night jazz is an additional reason to visit this dining monument in the area.

Had a business dinner here recently. Outside, the strip mall location doesn't do justice to the interior of the restaurant. Food was OK. The beef was somewhat fatty and cooked inconsistently. Frankly I've had better steaks at the Outback. Appetizers were just OK...heavy on the presentation. Service was disappointing. When I buy an $80 bottle of wine, I expect that the wait person will stop by occasionally and keep your glass filled. They had an excellent Jazz band playing some favorite standards, but it was too LOUD. Finally, this is the first restaurant in all my years of travel throughout the U.S. that I have ever been to where an automatic gratuity is added for a table of six. I probably would have given the same amount of tip (despite the poor wine service), but find it rather arrogant that a fixed gratuity for a relatively small group is levied. Bottom line, restaurant has good potential, but would have expected better service and food quality for spending $100/person.
