Hotel itself is very nice, staff however leaves a lot to be desired. Check in went fine but down hill from there. Constant complaints and rude treatment from staff. While standing outside my room I was asked are you waiting to get in your room? Implying get in your room if you are and if you aren't get out. Noticed several other hotel visitors being treated rudely as well. Will NEVER EVER stay there again. I am sure the owner will get on here and try to tell you they did nothing wrong, don't believe them!

Bantam hockey team from Minot, ND. Kids were great. Adults were drunks. Nobody else would take them. We won't again.

The rooms were solid though not special, but the cost was only about $60 a night. The breakfast was probably a bit below average, but good enough for us. The guest internet is super fast. I'm an advocate of guest puters in hotels, and really appreciated finding a first rate one in a budget hotel.

We picked this hotel because we wanted to spend some time in Teddy Roosevelt National Park north unit. The drive from Medora was very nice. There were lots of workers staying at this hotel. There was a sign reminding people to take off their muddy boots. The rooms were dated, but clean. There was a frig in the room. We had a hard time getting the TV to work, but finally had it somewhat figured out. The staff was friendly. There are many things at the hotel about Teddy Roosevelt. We had pizza nearby for supper at T J's Pizza, not far from the hotel. Breakfast was included which included boiled eggs and waffles. We paid about $80 including tax for the room. If we come this way again, we would stay here.

We stayed in the Queen Suite and had a wonderful time at the Roosevelt Inn. The value for the quality of room was terrific and the staff was friendly and helpful. Watford City is very small and the hotel was beyond what could general be expected in such a remote location. The trip to the Northern Unit of Roosevelt National Park was not long. Good experience all around!

Very basic room - AAA gives this a 1 diamond rating. Hospitable staff. Clean, very comfortable bed. Novel breakfast treat - granola and dried fruits. We mixed together and carried it with us through the day as Trail Mix. Terrible (undrinkable) coffee though.

This is a comfortable motel in an oil-boom town in western North Dakota. The rooms are quite small but well equiped. Very clean. Good continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit.

We reserved the Roosevelt Inn's King Grande Suite as part of an anniversary "golfing" trip through North Dakota. The regular rooms are around $70 per night but we splurged $150 for the King Grande Suite as it has a jacuzzi tub and upgraded furnishings.

The location of the Inn is convenient and is very easy to find. When we arrived at our room we thought it looked quite nice and the furnishings were modern. However, at 10pm my wife begin to fill the jacuzzi tub and she became concerned that the water was a bit yellow. We drained the tub and refilled it and the water was still yellow. We chalked it up to being in a small town that perhaps has high iron content in the well water.

When she turned the jacuzzi on, the jets shot out black chunks of "goo". Not good. Sooo, we drained the tub again and refilled and started the jets again. Same black chunks came out. We even let the jets run for a few minutes and still these chunks were flying out. We drained / re-filled again, but to no avail, the same gross result. It was late so we just called it a night (the front desk man / pool maintenance man had told us earlier that no one worked the front desk after 10pm).

The next morning we went to check out and we advised the front desk agent of the jacuzzi troubles. She laughed and said that she was the owner, that she lives in the room below the suite we had stayed in, and that the jacuzzi problems happen all of the time. She flippantly said we should have run it for a while and drained it and re-filled it. I advised that was exactly what we had done, and she just said: "that's weird", and moved on to the next customer. No apologies, no assurances that it would be fixed if we returned some other time. Not a satisfactory response.

I feel terrible that you left with the understanding that we didn't care about your jacuzzi tub experience or complaint. There is no excuse for something like that. Please come and stay in our suite free of charge and I will make sure the jacuzzi tub is in perfect working order. I sincerely apologize. - Lindsey
