This is one of my favourite places to come in the whole of adelaide, real rustic feel, kinda feels like your over at a friends house which I love. Amazing pizzas and super fresh salad for starters. Book well in advance, it's worth the wait.

“Highly recommended so we went for tea”
Reviewed May 3, 2013 via mobile

Recommended by some friends from Adelaide as a must try place to visit. From the outside you would miss if you we're driving around trying to find somewhere to eat, no big sign etc
The place is relaxed and has a quirky feel, old wooden tables, stone floors and the smell of the open fires throughout. We chose the three course set menu for $35.
The starters were breads with dukkah n oil and a salad. However no cutlery is provided so we asked for more paper napkins. With close friends we didn't mind this but I know it won't be for everyone!
Mains were amazing!! The pizzas and selection were fantastic. We picked half and half and could keep ordering.
Deserts were nice but after all the pizza, a little treat to finish the night.
Overall, the place is apparently only open fri n sats so book a table well in advance. Pizzas offer fantastic flavour using the open oven but don't pick set menu if you only plan to have one pizza. Be prepared to eat without plates n cutlery - this would be their one improvement!! Otherwise, best pizzas by far and only wish I lived closer!!

“Disapointing slice.”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

The pizza 'deal' paid up front, about $35 pp did not equal the amount of food received. Entree was very nice. Then we were told to start with 2 pizzas for 4 people and see if that was enough, which it was, but we paid for more than that.. An expensive night out for pizzas which are now available far more widely in their gourmet forms. Visitors from Sydney not impressed.

“Quirky place, delicious pizzas”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Recently dined here while staying with friends in Port Willunga. Great place, cottage with overflow into the gardens. Very busy and obviously a trendy place to be seen. We decided to go for the package, shared the starters between the 4 of us and then had 2 pizzas to share and a dessert each. Good value and a bonus that it is a BYO. The only disappointing thing was the service, I know it was a Saturday night and they were really busy, but they could of bought the pizzas out at the same time, not 20 minutes apart.
Would go again on my next visit as the pizzas were really tasty and it is a rather groovy place.

“Overrated faux-quirkiness”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Yes it's a long way from Adelaide, that is not the problem. The pizzas were very tasty. The place is incredibly noisy and crowded with posers who think that eating sans cutlery is somehow hip and quirky. Yes, pizza is eaten with the hands, but the entree (antipasto?) platters that came up first require some sort of implements, everyone sharing while eating with their hands is just asking for an E. coli infection. You know most people don't wash their hands after going to the loo.I don't like eating things that other people have poked and prodded. And when the pizza comes out, the toppings tend to slide off when you pick up your piece. No plates, you try to eat off paper napkins. I am surprised it meets health department requirements.I hope the tables are cleaned well. Very noisy, very crowded. I am surprised it meets health department requirements. Should be cheaper considering no cutlery or crockery is supplied (or washed).
