I really enjoyed my day at Softfoot Sanctuary, luckily for us, we were given the option of going with the first group of people with a lot of kids (not for us), or to wait a short while to go with Adults only. Our guide Barnaby was fantastic, easy to chat with and very knowledgeable about the animals, and he very obviously loves his job, which is great, there is a lot of interaction with the animals not just looking from behind a fence, we were able to hold and feed some very young kangaroos, some possums and of course the Alpacas who were a real treat - a most enjoyable afternoon with coffee, tea and biscuits thrown in!

We love Alpacas so when we saw the tours offered here we had to go. We did the 2 hour tour (they also have a 1 hour one) & we had the most amazing time with our tour guide Sophie.
The Alpacas are amazing & very friendly & we got to feed some Joeys too'
There is a small cafe where you can have a coffee & a small gift shop.

Highly recommend and well worth the visit to Softfoot Alpaca Farm and Wildlife Santuary. The Tour guide made the hour memorable and very informative about the property. Bottle fed kangaroos, explored on a 4x4 All Terrain Buggie with an upclose experience with the Alpacas. Had teenagers with me and they want to return again.

Lindy is our tour guide through the whole 2 hours, no waste at all, we have been very excited on the buggy, which is the first time, amazed by the farm builder/funder's thoughts of how pp could help other animals, plants and being so creative themselves. We saw the rescued baby kangroo and fed it a bit milk. :D Lindy tried to play the voice of another male Koala to let us see how Koala might react to the'other ones' in their territory. She had been filling us with the whole process of how alpaca was breed, shaved and so much more. I think the whole trip is just wonderful because we get to know even more about australian's animals, plants and what we can do to help the environment, definitely worthy going and definitely recommend all pp with different background go there, no marketing stuff, just from the passion of sb who want to do something meaningful.

We loved the 2 hour tour today and it took our mind a little off the devastating things happening on Kangaroo Island. So glad that there are places like this farm where dedicated people do try to support Australian wildlife and nature. Thank you!
