“Personal touch creates superior holiday”

My husband and I recently completed the Five Day Lake Eyre Flood Water Special Tour with Paul (owner/exceptional operator). This tour far exceeded our expectations as far as the remoteness / picturesque scenery / wildlife / meals and accommodation. Most memorable would have to be the Coober Pedy opal experience; walking on Halligan Bay at sunset; day flight from William Ck. over Lake Eyre to Innamincka to Arkaroola and the Ridge Top Tour at Arkaroola (not for the faint hearted). There were only four of us on tour which made for a most relaxing, flexible, accommadating and enjoyable tour. We felt so special and would highly recommend this tour of a lifetime. Great value. Val.

“Gentle introduction to a stunning area”

Can't think of a better way to learn about local history than from a local. Nick really loves the wildlife, the bush and even the snakes. This is a hidden gem. I'll be telling all my friends

“Amazing, once in a life time experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2011

Paul Keen, owner of Wallaby Tracks took myself, a friend and two other ladies (4 females aged 40 - 77 years old) to Coober Pedy, Painted Desert, Breakaways and Oodnadatta track following the Old Ghan Railway route. He then took us on the most amazing walk around Halligan Bay, Lake Eyre. It was serenely beautiful. He arranged flight over Lake Eyre and then took us to Cowards Springs and Roxby Downs. Total length of tour was 5 days / 4 nights. He was thoroughly professional, knew all the best places to eat and included very generous meals in his package. He was an extremely safe driver over very rough roads and thoroughly looked after us. His 4 wd was very comfortable and the camping facilities were excellent. The pacakage was extremely good value and we saw sites we would never have reached without him.

“Great way to see the Flinders Ranges”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2010

My friend and I did a 3.5 day Flinders Ranges Mountain Safari tour with Paul Keen in May. Paul was very responsive during the planning stages returning calls and emails promptly (he manages this even while touring in the most islolated places - he is very customer focused). We caught the bus from Adelaide to Port Augusta where he met us and took us to his (modest) house in Quorn for dinner. We left early the next morning, spotting yellow footed wallabies in the first hour. Lunch by a billabong, then Wilpena Pound and on to Chambers Gorge to camp the night. We camped in the Gorge and had a great walk next morning before driving on to Arkaroola. A lot of distance is covered in the 3 days but the scenery is stunning and there are lots of stops. Paul spotted sturt peas in full flower along the road and is a mine of information about birds and plants. The camping was great fun, food really good and Paul could not do enough to ensure our comfort and enjoyment of the area, including stopping at the Parachilna Hotel for lunch at my request. On our return to Quorn he waited until 9pm to drive us to Port Augusta to catch our bus north instead of finishing at the usual time of 5pm.
We were very impressed with Paul and the way he runs his business - he is very genuine and committed to his clients. It was a great way for us to experience the Flinders Ranges and we left wishing we'd done the longer tour.
