First of all, I must point out that I was there to taste the wine rather than look at or feed the animals. I was very pleasantly supplied when tasting these classy wines, under marketed compared to other Port Lincoln region wines, with their distinctive label adorned with the Southern Bluefin Tuna, hunnus maccoyii, clearly designed to capture the predominantly Japanese tuna market. The pick of the small selection of wines produced for me are the ''SASHIMI Adelaide Hills/The Peninsulas Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc' and the 'BLUEFIN The Peninsulas Merlot', which also came in handy small 375mL bottles for the hotel/motel market and great for light meals. Oh yes, and sipping a couple of glasses of the Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc whilst watching the Kangaroo Island Kangaroos (one joey) and rabbits grazing and generally being lazy was very relaxing...

We had a great time feeding all the animals and playing putt putt, we also enjoyed watching people ride the segways.
Beware of the ostrich though, he has an attitude problem I think.

I was slightly worried that our 6 month old son would be scared of the animals, how wrong could I be, he loved them! Glen Forrest is easy to get around and the paths are mostly suitable for a stroller too although big wheels are the go. All the animals are well looked after and the enclosures are clean and tidy. A great way to spend an afternoon with kids of all ages. Keep up the good work.

I love taking my family here! If you are not from Port Lincoln this is a place you must not miss! You can wander around and look at all of the animals, enjoy a glass of the Lincoln Estate Wine from the vineyards. The grounds are imaculately kept which for us is our highlight! We will always make time to pack up a bbq or picnic and head out to the farm for a gathering with friends and all of our chidren. A real relaxed atmosphere, Kym and his wife Lauren go to great legnths to make your experience comfortable and memorable! Be sure to phone through prior to your visit to book the Segways and find out feeding times!
