Recently I retired from a rather stressful job.
A colleague had changed jobs a year earlier and we needed to catch up for lunch with our respective spouses to review life and circumstances.
The Flying Fish is located on a fantastic beach front location and the architecture is still suitable for the locale.
We all met up on a Tuesday for a seafood delight.
After a dips starter we headed out to sea.
The white wine was the Shaw and Smith Sav Blanc. Typically superb.
Our guests were ready to chow down on the Seafood platter for two - generous and scrumptious
My lady had the grilled Garfish - an all time fave
I tucked into the Pale ale battered King George Whiting - consist and generous in serving.
The accompanying chips were fantastic.
The food and the location is a treat as was going to the shoreline at Port Elliot when you were a kid on holidays.
