This park is quite nice and is a peaceful way to spend an afternoon. It’s smaller than some of the other wildlife parks, but is also less crowded, and there’s a more personal feel to it. The staff are very knowledgeable and keen to make your visit a pleasant one. It’s also home to the only breeding platypus in SA, which is pretty interesting. We will definitely be back!

We did the dusk walk as a small group - with family members including three teenagers. It was a brilliant experience in a small area of bushland that is - again - being returned to nature and to the animals that live in the area. We did not see the platypus, but still had a magical evening.

Would highly recommend the dusk walk. Although small it really feels you are in the bush with different habitats with animals going about their own business. Saw the rescues kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes and also the smaller inhabitants poteroos, bettongs and a wild koala with a tiny Joey. Spent time looking for the platypuses but they were hiding! Our guide Kat was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly.

Visited Warrawong this morning with our 2 and 4 year olds and had a great morning! We live in Glenelg, so this is only about a 30 minute drive for us. The sanctuary is only small, so it's easy even for young kids to see the whole thing (and walk most of it by themselves).

The staff was excellent and super friendly! The guy behind the counter showed the kids the snakes and lizards (took them out of the enclosure so they could see them up close) and they absolutely loved it!!

It was very quiet today as it was rainy (only one other family), so it was great for the kids to spend lots of time with each animal. They fed the kangaroos, got to see koalas, emus, lots of birds, kangaroos and the reptiles at the front desk.

When we came back, the fire was on at the café, which is a great spot for a coffee after you've seen all the animals.

Thanks for a great morning guys, we'll definitely come back again soon!
