Description: Woodstock Coterie, built in 1988, was designed to nestle among the towering century old gum trees. The design took into consideration the location of each of these amazing native trees. Not one significant tree was cut down to accommodate building the restaurant. Hence, the Coterie's unique semicircle shape. Rammed earth walls encase the dining area, providing a warm feel and at the same time complementing The Coterie's unique quintessentially Australian landscape. Glass doors and windows frame the lush native gardens creating an atrium feel for the discerning patron. Upstairs there is a mezzanine level available for private tastings, conferences and functions. The name 'Coterie' was chosen for the word's meaning; the gathering of a group of people, or rather a circle of friends, for a specific purpose... that for us includes great food, good company and finest wines at Woodstock

This is the place we go when we want to spoil ourselves for a long lunch. The food is truly 5 star and Zak and the staff are attentive (but not in your face) and make sure your every need is attended to with a smile.
The most recent menu highlight has to be the raspberry souffle - but it's so hard to single out a single menu item - they are all fabulous.
Highly recommend anyone who has not visited Woodstock to make it a priority.

You must go to Woodstocks Friday night pizza do, it's amazing value for money and the staff, atmosphere is excellent. $35 per head (adults), $20 (kids) all you can eat gourmet pizzas + entree & desert, live music to boot. A must have. The food was amazing, loved it. Enjoy!

We couldn't have asked for a better day. A group of friends of mine decided to visit Woodstock for a nice Sunday lunch and what we got was amazing food, wine and service! The food was devine - I had the lamb and it was so tender and all the flavours blended so well together. The staff were fabulous and very attentive. I would just like to thank the staff both front and back of house for deliverying beautiful food, wine and service!

After reading the reviews of Woodstock Coterie it seemed the ideal place for a nice lunch. We must have missed something but we were terribly disappointed. The atmosphere of the outside table was really pleasant and we ordered the regional platter. It came as a jumble of food on a large dinner plate. The best part was a large slice of pate but the rest was definitely not regional or interesting. In particular the small amount of lettuce was old and partly wilted black (rotten) and the "seasonal fruit" consisted of 2 small slices of watermelon and 2 strawberries one of which was rotten. Most of the plate was taken by a pile of pitta bread plus 2 small slices of a crusty bread. There was a slice of firm brie and several small slices of chorizo that had been fried to a tough leather. We showed the lettuce and strawberry to the table staff and told our comments were passed onto the kitchen, and that was it. The plate cost $50 and intended to feed two, which it did if you fill up on the bread. What a wasted opportunity, fine wine, sunny day, heaps of delightful real regional food available for a fraction of the cost in the villages around - it was market day.

A regional platter for two and chilled bottle of reisling made the perfect lunch at Woodstock Winery. We were able to take our time enjoying the fresh produce provided in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Thoughly recommend it!
