Can't recommend our family lunch celebration here enough. We started our experience with the beautiful complimentary sour dough along with bowls of succulent olives and the exquisitely flavoured pork buns. A variety of main courses ordered were all spot on and beautifully presented. As were the desserts. Include a fantastic wine list and excellent professional, friendly and fun service, and we all can't wait to enjoy the next experience here as soon as possible. It was a very busy Sunday and we are all complimenting our Father, Husband and Grandfather on his excellent choice of venue.

Thank Ajellen

We went for a long Sunday lunch & left very quickly. The day started well, warm welcome, extremely pleasant & efficient waiting staff excellent wine & gin menu ,great bread, but that was it.

Out table was a poky corner affair near the front door & every time it was opened to let guests in or to go to the toilet an artic gale engulfed us.A screen needs to be put up.Some people like to hear the chef calling orders at the pass we found it noisy & obtrusive,as did the couple next to us

The food was terrible. My wife had fish, overcooked tasteless & served with a twice cooked egg which had a perfect runny yolk but a still flemmy not set white, whole dish was a disaster. I had a lamb rump & whoever cooked that should take up flower arranging. It was so overcooked it was bland & chewey dont know how it was cooked ,tasted like it was in a pan & had a lid put on to speed it up . It tasted broiled. After it was sliced the edges had curled up.The jus or sauce was oily & had zero taste.A $9 side of home cut chips was woeful. The few larger on the top were lovely but most of them were tiny offcuts ,about a cm in length.

We didnt wait for coffee or desert it was way too bad

Sure it's easy to be critical but this was sub sub standard. What a let down for such a lovely setting

If you are looking for a cosy dinner venue go elsewhere. Our experience was very ordinary here. On arrival we were dismissed to a corner which looked like the children's play area! We weren't exactly sure if we were expected to sit on the little coloured stools or not- was this a return to our infancy? We asked if we could move to a table with real chairs - no problem, come into our interrogation room! The lighting here was severe - no ambience, blank white walls without a skerrick of art, completely mismatched chairs (think light timber hard and uncomfortable with plain dark timber table school cafeteria style) with classy cutlery not, in a glass jar. But the lack of ambience could be forgiven if the food was good. After an hours wait tough fatty steak, over cooked fish and barely steamed veggies(which arrived long after we were well into our attempt at eating our meals) left our jaw muscles well exercised! After another prolonged wait for dessert and coffee we gave up and went to pay the bill to be told the dessert was ordered only 10 mins earlier - really! - after a 2 hour ordeal. The saving grace was a nice bottle of wine to keep us happy but the owners need to take a serious look at making this better. A lovely appearance to the outside of the building spoilt by a lack of interior ambience, and painful long food service of disappointing quality. Bottom line- go to Vasarelli!

Ordering and paying we're made very difficult. As an interstate visitor I felt as though I couldn't even go inside to enjoy the bar.

Awesome place. Food is great level for lunch. But the cream of the cream is the gin choice. If you like those, go there. The boss is a great bloke who knows a lot on gin, he propose 150 of thoses. Add to that, the wine cave hold some nice treasure from europe.
This is a must go. Cheers
