What a refreshing suprise we had at this restaurant this month. We were greeted by excellent hosts (whom run the Kitchen door) and they delivered great, genuine and professional service with a few laughs in between on the table overlooking the vines. The menu is very local orientated and deliveres some of South Australias best produce. The food was superb. Great balance of flavours, textures and skills. They say they aren't fine dining..... they are understating themselves. The dishes were brillant. We had the vittelo tonnato and an exceelent grilled octopus. The main was very clever with the chicken breast sandwiched with truffle paste and silky smooth onion puree, pearl barley, chicken leg & tarragon wram salad. Very tasty dish.
They offer Local wines with a splash of some others and you can get sample tastings at your table. Definitely will return!!
Worth a stop if you in Southern Vales.
