Just tucked behind some shops on the main street so was a little noisy but still a good location, close to loads of restaurants etc. ask for a room near the rear of the property

I was attending a conference in Hahndorf for 3 days and saw 3 rooms, mine (room 1), and associates Room 5 & 6. Room 1 was OK for sleep & leave, small TV, wall heater, spa, kitchen. If you shut small windows behind the bed, you wont hear the traffic as much. Room 5 & 6 were bigger, big TV, roomier, gas heater etc. Excellent for business although wifi internet was lacking in range for some rooms. Better to bring your own usb internet stick. Ample parking available & friendly service when needed. Walking distance to local shops, IGA supermarket, restaurants & pubs. Ideal for business or holiday. Breakfast available at local restaurants & cafes, or do your own in room kitchenette.

Room Tip: Room 1 closer to road, comfortable for 1 or couple, room 5,6 larger with balcony, raised above carpark & probably quieter at night away from traffic.

This hotel was centrally located, however the room was very small and dark, with one small window, and it was generally an uncomfortable stay. Our room was a standard (not one of the spa suites) and for the price I expected a bit more. The bed was really uncomfortable; thin, cheap mattress and as a result I woke up with a very sore neck (which is still aching a week later.) The TV on the wall was tiny. The room did seem clean however.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front do experience road noise so take your ear plugs or take a room at the back if you're a light sleeper.

Spent two night in room 1. Location in centre of town is good. Large room. Large bathroom. All the normal stuff in good working order - kettle, hair drier, air cond, larger than normal bar fridge, small wall mounted flat screen TV, freestanding wardrobe. Bathroom had a spa bath that doubles as the shower, and a heater/light/fan. Room was clean, though light colored carpet was showing its age. Communication with the owner was a pleasant and positive experience.
No window or skylight in bathroom which made it gloomy. No screen or curtain around spa bath meant floor unavoidably got wet.
Very squeaky bed.
Hahndorf wakes up late - with no breakfast at Zorros, you have to look elsewhere. Ghost town before 7:30am. If you need car fuel the garage doesn't open till 9am.

We had a fantastic 2 nights in Hahndorf recently made all the better by Lisa at Zorro's. The room was magnificent, sparkling clean, very homely with the heater going on our arrival, huge bathroom with all the facilities needed including heaters, good kitchen facilities, plenty of room for relaxing with lounge chair and her caring service and bubbly personality made it even better. A ramp up to the first floor rooms making it very easy for access and undercover parking is available. A little creek flows behind the rooms adding country charm. Would certainly recommend Zorro's for anyone wanting to stay in the Adelaide Hills as it is very central in the town of Hahndorf which is very central to the entire region. Thank you Lisa.

Room Tip: The spa suite is great value for money and has great character- loved it!
