A beautiful spot in the Adelaide Hills with sweeping views across the vines, hills and valleys. The restaurant area is spacious. The deck also has tables which I have eaten at before but on this day it was too windy. Even though there are alot of hard surfaces and the tables were well sized I could still hear everyone at the table.
Food. Very Good. Not cheap, entrees in the 20s, mains in the 30s plus sides but good sized serves. All the starters and entrees we had were excellent. Again we were all pretty happy with the mains although I found the Gnocchi oversalted to my taste and a friend thought the duck a little chewy.
Service was very good not brilliant (had to ask for pepper and more water)
Overall fantastic place for a special lunch in an outstanding area of beauty
ps The Lois sparkling wine is yummy
