Great burger but very seafood heavy menu.
Friendly, good service and a relaxing evening meal.

Went in for a glass of wine and stayed for 4 hours, bottle of wine and some duck spring rolls. Awesome place and somewhere we visit often. Grantley & Monty welcome you into the restaurant and you feel like you are at their home and are treated like you are sitting at their dinner table and eating their home cooked meals. Awesome place to spend a few hours with great views, brilliant o, wine and fantastic friendly staff. If you are in the Goolwa area, well worth the time to sit back and relax and enjoy the day. Thank you Grantley & Monty for your continued welcoming atmosphere in your cafe.
Visited hectors today, the place has a lovely atmosphere...not just the wonderful view and yummy food but also the welcoming staff and other customers. Lots of people had their dogs and children there and the staff stopped to chat with us about where we were from and what we were up to for the day, despite it being busy. Best seafood chowder I've ever tasted! Would definately go there again.
Love the location, food and atmosphere. I always enjoy my long luches, whether it be with the girls or business. Thank you so much Grantley, Monty and staff for the fantastic hospitality, you always ensure our stay is pleasant and memorable.
Great Spot, view wise. Just waiting for someone to take it over who has a smile and can make you feel welcome. I live here and its obvious to me that they are just pushing tourists thru - not leaving a good impression on anyone (this is not the way most people in goolwa are). The inside area can get quite hot in summer and smells of cooking fumes. Outside is best but there is limited seating. Tried it a couple of time - wont bother again. Try the AquaCafe, its on the river and has much better food and service.
