We had dinner here when we stayed at the cottages. It is an interesting building that made me think of Casa Blanca (high ceilings, etc.) The food was excellent. I had pork belly (a popular dish here that is not as fatty as I had expected, and very good.
Elizabeth had a barramundi, a popular and very tasty fish in this local.
We recommend this restaurant.

A farewell dinner was organised for a group of 21. We were asked to provide our menu choices ahead of time to make it easier for all. On our arrival the table was beautifully laid with name tags. The table was a bit cramped but our request for an add on table was met quickly.
The service was quick & efficient. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed their entree's, mains & desert choices. The dining atmoshphere was delightful, the outdoor rotunda surroundings quite beautiful. Thanks to Tiff for the great communication to ensure we all had a wonderful evening farewelling a dear friend.

We had heard that Eden house was under new management so we decided to give it a try for our date night. This was a very good decision.
The atmosphere is great. It is a renovated old queenslander surrounded by rainforest gardens.
The lighting was soft but enough so that we were not eating in the dark.
the service was polite professional and prompt.
Our waiter knew the menu and the wine list well and provided exceptional recommendations.
The menu is a rotating menu which depends on the availability of local produce. Many of the ingredients used are native rainforest foods.
The wine and beer selection was exceptional and cocktails reasonably priced.
The meals were beautifully presented and in generous portions.
When after our mains my girlfriend and myself were so full we decided we could only share a dessert we were brought a dessert double the size than a normal one for no extra charge.
The waiter also advised that Eden house will also be running live music on Friday nights and on the last Sunday if each month they will be serving tapas and running cocktail afternoons.
This is the first excellent review we have given on tripadvisor!

Anew restaurant with very enthusiastic young staff. We visited on short notice and they were very accommodating.
Menu small and concise. We had the prawns, a little over done with a very full on dressing sauce.
My steak medium rare tended on the more medium .Nice side veges. A good selection of wines not over priced. We skipped desert.
All in all room to improve and I am sure they will.
Great place for time to enjoy.
