We were a group of 6 and we spent 2 nights at the Stanthorpe Villa in August. The villa is large with plenty of room for 3 couples, a billiard room is also provided. We liked the location, although you do need to drive to Stanthorpe or other locations. Even though the area is is in drought like much of eastern Australia, it was still attractive.
The property does need some maintenance, in the main bathroom the toilet kept flushing, given the drought this should be rectified. Several light fittings needed globes replaced. The cleaning could have been more thorough.
However, we would stay here again.
Had 2 night stay, The house is enormous as well as the grounds. I was astounded
at the look of the place on arrival. Walked inside and was blown away by the size of the interior - 3 massive bedrooms - with massive kitchen, dining room and lounge with great fireplace. Their were six of us 3 couples - no one was disappointed.
Everything supplied except your food and drinks.
Very quiet and peaceful even with the wild life - would highly recommend - perfect for children..Very reasonable rates/ - great for as long as you like.
This is the place. Rose gardens in full bloom, fruit trees in abundance. Loved the place.
It is a very spacious. Bedrooms really well appointed. The location is fantastic, walking distance to town and close to wineries
