“Very clean and helpful”

Stayed at the park overnight in one of the on site cabins. The cabin was very clean and tidy the lady at reception was very helpful when asking where the best places to eat in Roma where. Defiantly worth the stop if travelling through Roma.

Passing through Roma and stayed for 1 night. Choose the Big Rig as it was pet friendly (pets not allowed inside the cabins). Was a little shocked at the price but the cabin was well presented on the outside and clean/tidy & nice on the inside. Make sure you book well in advance as nearly every night is booked out. Nice under cover car park right next to the cabin, which was great for my dog. One downside to my stay was finding black ants on the bed. Would stay here again if I was passing through Roma. Visitor Centre is right across the street which is handy.

We have just returned from spending 2 nights at this park, once on our way to Carnarvon Gorge and again on our way back. As it was just a stopover each time, we were able to get a drive through site and stay hitched to the car for a quick start the following morning. The first night we walked along the creek into town and had dinner at a pub and walked back again. It is a fair walk but easy for reasonably fit people. The second time we stayed it was 39c and after setting up the van we spent the afternoon in the surprisingly cool pool, wonderful. There is a great camp kitchen called The Bull Ring with fridge, bbqs, sink, and big screen tv which was great for travellers. The facilities are a little dated but are clean and adequate. Although a block away from the highway, the side roads can get a little noisy at times because there seems to be a truck parking area down the road but that is mainly in the late afternoon and early morning.

Room Tip: If road noise bothers you, ask for a site away from the roads.

We recently stayed in a caravan site overnight. The sites are compact and need an upgrade, the roads that side the park are busy although it wasn't too noisy. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy, although they too needed some care and attention.

It's your typical caravan park, full of grey nomads and with communal shower and toilet facilities. The host were fantastic, friendly and helpful even though we are far from their usual clientele. We stayed in one of the onsite cabins (the budget option) and were quite surprised. The air con had an issue the first night (it was the middle of winter, and was mighty cold), but they came by the next day and had it fixed immediately and apologized profusely. We were very happy with their service considering the price we paid!

A good location only minutes from town and right next to the creek with a nice walking track through it. We loved it and would gladly stay there again.

Room Tip: Onsite cabins can be a bit noisy early morning when the trucks start leaving from the carpark nearby...
