I know it as Whitsunday bakery 37 Main Street Proserpine. Owned by Stephen and Lorella Cassells.

When travelling north or south to or fromTownsville, a must stop is the Whitsunday Bakery.
Friendly service and a wide range of pies, cakes, biscuits slices and drinks.
We never fail to drop in to enjoy the goodies.
Takeaway away or eat in if you need a break from the car.

We drive up from Sarina and ready for a good treat or two.

Pies, sandwiched & rolls, cakes galore. Everything you could want for lunch on the run or to eat in the park just across the road. Very busy at lunch time but quick service. Staff friendly enough but could improve on customer service skills.

This is a popular place and you can eat inside or on the footpath. The pies are better than average and they have hot cinnamon doughnuts at $2.20 for three.
There is some parking in the side street, and a well-maintained park with toilets across the road.
