“Nice but no waterfall”

We came during a month where there has been little rain and so the waterfall was completely dried up. I imagine it would be beautiful during wetter months. Worth the 30 minute drive from airlie beach.

Believe it or not there's actually not a lot of great beaches around unless you go out to the islands so when we heard about this place we were excited to try some fresh water fun

It wasn't crowded, was easy to access, even had a eco toilet there for visitors to use and was an absolute joy.

This place was amazing, saw 4 turtles and one snake and lots of fish.
The water fall wasn't flowing, would be better in the wet season, but still an amazing place to visit

We were staying in nearby Airlie Beach and came to the creek for the afternoon. It was lovely, peaceful and great for pictures. An added bonus was getting to see 4 turtles swimming around and sunbathing on the rocks. Would definitely recommend!

Went here and it was nice and tranquil.

Followed the gps but had to keep going until you reach the end of the road.

It's nice that there's a clearing that you can park at and the falls are just metres away (good for people who can't walk far).

Be careful because the road is narrow so can barely fit two vehicles side by side. Thankfully there isn't a lot of traffic so you can go slowly on those occasions.

Unfortunately, it hadn't rained in a few days so cedar creek falls had no "falls". But it was still beautiful to look at and we took lots of beautiful pictures.

Also noticed a lot of people following a path up the side of the falls to get to the top, which I would imagine would have an incredible view.

We stopped here on our way to proserpine airport, with a slight detour here and it was well worth it.

Definately worth a visit!
