My Husband had to have an operation at the NGH and this wonderful motel is across the road from the entrance to the hospital. The room was large, clean and equipped with all the appliances to make a meal or a sustaining snack! All good - but as usual the owners are the biggest asset to this business- they were very kind and allowed parking before and after check-in and check-out - a very big consideration when parking around the hospital ( Parking station is often full) is such a problem. I heartily recommend this motel.

Room Tip: All seemed fine and not noisy.

Handy location for hospital. Receptionist pleasant,
I agree with other reviews, a bit overpriced
Disagree with 4 star rating, just a solid 3 1/2 star
Clean, kitchenette handy
Shower a problem, took ages to get warm water then very touchy
Good for an overnight stay

We were staying in Nambour to be close by for a funeral. We weren't really after anything luxurious and just needed a place to stay for 2 nights.

The room was a good size with a good firm bed and everything was reasonably clean. We only used the kettle so can't comment on the pots and pans.

The only thing I could fault was the shower. Water seemed to come out very lightly and it was hard to adjust the hot/cold to be just the right temperature.

Staff were nice and helpful.

If you have to stay in the area, this place seems to do the trick!

As other reviewers have noted, this motel is in a great location opposite Nambour Hospital. I stayed here for 2 nights recently as I did need to be close to the hospital. I had a ground floor unit that was convenient, extremely clean and had a very comfortable bed. There was also a small kitchenette that included a microwave, a small hotplate, crockery, cooking utensils etc. I do disagree with other reviewers about the price, I thought it was good value for money and would rate it at three and a half stars. The owner who was at the reception desk was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel either for convenience to the hospital or for a leisure stay.

We stayed here for 1 night... it's at the end of a driveway opposite the Nambour Hospital. The room was neat, clean and adequate with a good shower. We parked right outside our ground floor room.
Guests that ask questions about restaurants are referred to the compendium in the room, instead of having their questions answered.
This motel is quite suitable for a short stay. 3 Stars.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are preferable for short stays..

I needed to stay somewhere close to the hospital, and for that you couldn't ask for better location as it is directly over the road, and saves having to find somewhere to park in the vicinity. Room smelled dusty and musty, mattress was very uncomfortable, pillows were flat. The bathroom was very roomy, and the shower was good but the water had a strange smell, though I doubt that it the fault of the operators, probably just the local water. Curtains were really well lined so room stayed dark well after sunrise. Quite basic, but if you want five star, then go elsewhere and pay for it.

I stayed in Nambour Heights Motel last year for 2 weeks.
If someone is rating this as 4 star, then they probably have not stayed at a star class accommodation.
This is family business that only aims at raking money without giving a reasonable service.
The woman in the front desk is unfriendly and at times very rude. That is the first impression you may get.
The rooms are small. After sleeping on the cheap mattress, I nearly got a bad back after a week. Cleaning is limited to weekends. I was leaving on a Sunday, so my room was not cleaned on preceding Saturday – I lived in the hell for 8 days in a raw. When you open the balcony door (there was one where one person can barely turn), at least a dozen of flies get in to the room.
The pool is more like a pond where you can take a small dog for a swim.
The motel is next to a busy shopping centre visited by people who come to Nambour General Hospital, so it is noisy during the day.
If you are looking for cheap dirt (the rates are not very cheap) then this is the place.

Room Tip: Try Moloolaba, lots of cheap accommodation at great rates.
