Have stayed at this hotel twice now and now wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Maroochydore-Mooloolaba area. The manager, Sue, is fantastic and so friendly and accommodating, welcoming us back as return guests. This place is very central (i.e. just a 5 minute walk) to the shops, supermarkets, the river, park, and the a beautiful view of the ocean. The apartments are clean, roomy and comfortable. Definitely can recommend this as a place to stay for this Sunshine Coast area.

We were looking for somewhere special to hold a surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner for my parents and having a terrible time getting any hoteliers on the coast to give us anything less than a three night booking. Sue from M1 was just amazing from the very first call. She couldn't do enough to help us and she did everything she promised - a rare find. The room (703) was beautiful and the view from the enormous balcony was spectacular....a perfect venue for a perfect night. A huge thanks for helping to make the night so special Sue. We'll definitely be back. Can't recommend M1 highly enough.

Room Tip: Rooms that end in three have a great view of the mountains, river and ocean.

We stayed in Unit 604 for ten nights over Christmas and New Year. Our unit was huge, with a view over Cotton Tree and the beach. The unit is for sale, but the distracting elements are the high wind factor, strange noises in the roof and very low water pressure that would really become annoying to anyone living there. On the plus side, it is walking distance to many restaurants, shops and Sunshine Plaza........ It was great not to have to park and just stroll over to the Boxing Day sales and cinema. Security is excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The lap pool was chilly but bearable, though its rough surface would wreck any pedi! We had breakfast twice at the restaurant on the corner near the parking station; staff were very friendly and the food was great. We had a very stress-free stay.

I visit the Sunshine coast often and 90% of the time I will stay here. Sue is a great manager and always seems to deliver the style of room I am looking for.

The views are mostly awesome and the nearby restaurants are great.

Stayed for 3 nights.
Good- I booked a 3 bedroom and was upgraded to 3 bed penthouse! Staff were nice. Room clean and comfy (and gigantic). Allocated 1 car park space, but there were plenty of guest/spare spaces downstairs. A fair few decent places to eat within a 10 min walk, however a lot of the restaurants in the nearby hotels/apartments were closed for weddings at the weekend.
Bad- Pool cold. No sharp knives in the kitchen, but I've yet to stay anywhere in the world that has had a decent chefs knife in the accommodation ;).

We stayed at the m1 for 3 nights as a large group in two 3 bedroom apartments. The rooms were very clean and spacious. One apartment was pool level and the other on level seven which was a great disappointment as we were travelling as a group and it would have been much better if we were on the same floor. Was disappointed that the reception was not opened for our whole stay but that aside the management was easily contacted and very helpful, would stay here again but would prefer an ocean view room.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room and ocean view, also each apartment is furnished differently so ours did no...

We just stayed for two nights at M1 resort. We booked a two bedroom but were given a three bedroom. A really nice modern apartment. Very spacious, plenty of room for the four of us. Didn't use any of the other facilities. The woman who greeted us at reception was delightful.
