We booked a table for six on Saturday night. It was very busy and extremely loud...so loud that we couldn't talk to each other or the waiter. We did ask to be moved but there was nowhere to go. The food was good, the wine list is extensive but overly expensive. We ordered drinks that didn't arrive more than once, I'm not sure if the waiter didn't hear us or simply forgot. Having looked forward to enjoying a night of good food, relaxing music and good company our overall feeling was frustration. The idea is wonderful and obviously a desirable concept considering how busy they were but the music spoiled our night. We didn't go to a concert but that's what we got. I would go back during the week to see if it was just an over exuberant jazz band or a matter of the management still trying to figure out the balance.
I have experienced this type of eatery many times having lived in Europe and when it works there is no beating it and I really hope The Piano Bar listens and does some fine tuning.

We dined on a Thursday night after discovering Ba Vigo wasn't open. The food was just bad. We had the grilled Haloumi, whcih was ok, the octopus, was dry and horrible, the meatballs were very, very dry and tasteless, needed to be washed down with water, the Napoli sauce was ok. The pork with the pita bread was the best, but still not overly enjoyable. The scallops and african sausage came out with about two or three cut up sausages and one and a half diced scallops, clearly a cost cutting exercise, the sausages were meant to have a north african spice flavour, they tasted like they were basic beef sausages from woolies. Service was Ok, but the waitress forgot my partners second glass of wine until right at the end (the only reason we ordered more food was because he had ordered another glass of wine). The atmosphere is good, so was the wine list, I would only recommend this place for a few drinks, don't go for the food, some of the worst I have had on the coast. We will not return.

We have visited the Piano Bar on numerous occasions, and have waited to make our post, this place really should have a no1 rating, the Food is great, the service is great, they have the best Head waiter on the Sunshine Coast.
The owners are always on hand and always willing to help, the atmosphere is great with live music, the Tapas might not be for everybody but we really like it the place is always busy so that tells you something, keep up the good work.

A girl-friend and I popped into the Piano Bar for a late lunch. We shared a few tapas between us - absolutely delicious the pork sausages had an unbelievable taste - different and delicious; the octopus couldn't be faulted. So relaxing after a walk on the beach to sit in one of the lounges in the Piano bar, listen to the music have some tapas and a few wines.. the service was great too.
