I dined here with my husband not long ago and while the food was good, it wasn't good enough to salvage this place or indeed warrant a second visit. The first thing is that the food, especially the tapas menu does not represent value for money. We ordered the meatballs for $12 and the dish came out with four (4) tiny meatballs that were bland. Each meatball was the size of a 10 cent piece. The dish either needs to have more meatballs, or the meatballs need to be bigger. The grilled chicken that we ordered was also quite small. As a filler we were encouraged to order a second order of flatbread and we did so. We left hungry and that is a problem after you've paid over $60 for two people.

The second thing was that there were about 5 plates of food on our table, and the waitresses kept coming to clear each dish BEFORE we were done with them. This is awkward and uninviting service. It's a "c'mon eat, hurry, so we can clear your plates, you can pay and leave"..... And we did.

We celebrated the last night of our holiday at Coral Tajine, with our daughter her husband and children, I must say the service was great, our waiter was knowledgeable & polite.
We had a selection of tapas for a starter and that was nice way to start with a variety of tastes, our mains seafood paella, seafood tajine, lamb tajine & the whole fish dish, childrens meatballs & chicken fillets, it was wonderful to see the options for children well done, all meals were well cooked and presented, the children enjoyed their complement ice-creams whilst the adults enjoyed the tart & cheesecake.
It would be a lovely place to have a leisurely lunch. We really enjoyed our meals, Thank you we are happy to recommend your restaurant.

Our family of 4 dined here Tuesday 24th September and enjoyed the best dining experience out of our whole 7 night Maroochydore stay. So disappointed it wasn't until our last night we found it.
Maybe they have taken on board previous feedback as their service was faultless. The gentleman we had was attentative but not Intrusive. He was friendly as too was the young girl who took our dessert order.
It was so refreshing to have kids menu that treated them as valuable diners. No chicken nuggets or frozen fish fillets here. The children had real food that was cooked beautifully - chargrilled chicken fillets with saffron rice and Moroccan Meatballs with cous cous.
I enjoyed a seafood paella which was amazing. Each piece of seafood was cooked to perfection and the whole dish was so flavoursome. My husband had the Special- home made Merguez Sausages on an Apple and Herb cous cous with a yoghurt sauce. Delicious.
Dessert was outstanding. A warm chocolate and walnut torte with choc orange blossom sauce and cinnamon ice cream. 10/10. The torte was like a fudgey brownie and tasted amazing.
It was also nice to be able to get a great tasting bottle of wine in a restaurant for $24.
Overall it was fabulous and a great way to end our trip.

Really enjoyed our Lamb Targines but were frustrated by the poor service. The restaurant was not overly busy but we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink orders another 15 for them to arrive and when we finished them they didn't ask if we would like another. Customer service people...it's not that hard
