my fiancee and I vististed coffee works over the weekend, we had coffee and lunch, it was very tasty, the atmosphere was great, my only negative would be we noticed the staff were more interested in serving the older people and we got ignored? but it was great they were open on a sunday.

Coffeeworks is a funky tropical coffee and chocolate haven not far from the Kennedy highway in the industrial estate in Mareeba. the service is very friendly and efficient and they have a great gift shop that you walk through before you get to the coffee or the chocolate. I just think that the coffee could be better (please do away with the tall glasses for latté!)

Very nice coffees, a good selection and a good range of interesting stuff in the gift shop. But we were made to feel unwelcome with a young child, no high chairs, and said they didn't want t cater for young children. So if you have kids, stay away.

Although on the pricey side we enjoyed our visit and opportunity to sample a wide range of coffees, teas and chocolate. The coffee museum and audio were very informative.Enjoyed a tasty light lunch. Overall worth a visit but may loose customers if prices go any higher!

I think I was expecting more. When we arrived we were informed we could pay $19 each to sample the coffee and liqueur and tour the facility otherwise u just have access to the cafe and gift shop. The gift shop was cute with loads to things to look at, but quite pricey for the chocolates and liqueur.
