It was fun for kids and parents. The tour Is very educational, informative and well organized . Remember to book in advance. Also make sure you visit their shop and get yammy yoghurts.

Tried the cream in my Artisan Cheesecakes = superb.

What a shame the Queensland Premier imports milk to supply Queensland hospitals ( unsafe), when Maleny Dairy is a fully Queensland owned and operated dairy can meet that contract. I buy and support Aussie dairies. The Queensland Government does NOT support local business, so it's up to us to do our part and buy local dairy products, and Maleny Dairies has a great product.
I also suggest all Queenslanders write to the Queensland agricultural minister below and express your disgust in him supporting milk imports, when our local farmers can supply the hospitals:

Great afternoon experiencing aspects of a family run dairy supplying “real” milk to SE QLD.
Danni? was an enthusiastic guide making the tour all the more enjoyable.
The free-ranging sheep that joined us on the tour as a companion was a bonus.
An Aussie experience not to be missed whilst visiting Maleny - not just for the kids!

Went on an hour long tour of the farm and factory. We got to taste test products (although it would be great if they could use recyclable/washable cups and spoons), pat a milking cow and hand bottle-feed two calves, pat sheep and chickens.

We attended a 2:30pm farm tour and was told it was the best time to visit the farm because it’s right on time when the girls are milking. Our amazing guide, Danielle was completely right. My 4 year old daughter loved the informative video about milk production and how the farm works, she thoroughly enjoyed meeting one of the gernsey girls and feeding the lovely calf boys in the neighbouring field. She found the whole presses incredibly interesting and understood what Dani was explaining. The wholesome experience finished with a product tasting which we all enjoyed. This kind of family business tourism is exactly what kids enjoy!
