5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

30-40min Drive up Landsb and Maleny Road really worth the drive to get a nice view of the Glass House Mtns, There is a Kiosk with sandbos and drinks. There is also a rainforest trail with gold coin donation, picnic area and limit parking with optional parking on the side of the road, there is toilets. after visiting why not go to Maleny town.

“Fantastic place to stop.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Have been coming to Mary Cairncross Park since I was a child and it never gets old! The view over the top of the Glasshouse Mountains is unrivalled and changes with the light as the day goes on. This park has great facilities for picnics, BBQs and is a lovely place to stop with your thermos for morning or afternoon tea. There is a short bushwalk through lush forest which would suit nearly anyone.

“Away from it all”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

Although just off a fairly main road, once inside the reserve you feel you are miles from everything. The Guide on duty was very helpful making the visit even better. Wonderful photo opportunities of fantastic tree shapes. Good education centre with informative displays; excellent for children. Easy walks to suit all ages.

Wonderful views of the Glass House Mountains.

“Great patch of rainforest to show off to visitors”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

Always a reliable spot to take overseas guests, for a look at rainforest, strangler figs, wildlife (lizards, various birds, paddymelons, turkeys and trapdoor spiders) and views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Now with an excellent cafe for morning and afternoon teas or lunches. A short section of the walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

“Easy walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is a beautiful example of rainforest vegetation in the local area. It is a compact little reserve with a couple of easy walks. You will most likely see some Pademelons (Wallabies) along the track so long as you aren't too noisy while you wander around. There is a lovely park attached suitable for families with BBQ facilities. Great kiosk selling fabulous coffee and food. A very nice outing.
