Petit Cafe will change your mind forever about crepes.
Crepes are not on the top of my wish list for restaurant food but Aurelien Breguet and Kia Martin will change your mind forever. The menu will suit even the most fussiest and intolerant of stomachs and kids will just adore the relaxed freedom of Petit Cafe.
If a pretentious meal is what your after then dont eat here- the food is fresh, simple in some ways but the flavour combinations are a knockout. Make sure and take a friend or three so you can try out their dish or better still book in every day for a week and make your way through the menu. One of my favourites was the three cheese, pear, walnut and bush tomato chutney, the kangaroo proscuitto was also devine. Forget your diet and bust out for desert also the sweet crepes or pastries are to melt in your mouth morishness
The locally grown and roasted coffee is a delight, the service is friendly and the atmosphere of the surrounding rainforest market is very pleasant.
By evening end I felt as though I had died and gone to a foodie heaven-amply nourished and feeling as though Petit Cafe was their to please my taste bud delights. thanks so much Aurelien and Kia- you deserve to have such a thriving cafe you put soul into the food you create and heart into your service and atmosphere-well done.
