We wanted to especially see the Ulyses butterfly as we were 5 days into our holiday and weren,t sure if we would see any in the wild. There were so many different butterfies, they were beautiful and it was interesting to see how they are raised, fed etc. We even had some land on us. We got some great photos but felt that the cost was a bit high for just going in to look at them.

Thank you for your positive review, we're pleased that we satisfied your desire to see the Ulysses butterfly, and that some even landed on you!

With regards to entry price, this also includes a guided tour through the aviary, where you learn more about a butterfly's life cycle and behaviour. The tour also goes behind-the-scenes through our laboratory, which houses up to 4000 caterpillars in varying stages of development. There are also educational exhibits with a microscopic display allowing up-close viewing of the anatomy and wing structure of several butterfly species, as well as a Silk Moth Caterpillar display, and a museum featuring butterflies from around the world.

I was amazed by the variety and the different colours of these beautiful Butterflies we spent about 45mins to an hour just walking around taking in all the beauty.
I would happily recommed this to anyone and will happily go back next time i'm in town.

Took the wife here for a visit it was well worth the money, the butterflies were plentiful and lots of colour, the butterflies land on you by the dozens, a very interesting attraction and well worth a visit, staff are very helpful and full of knowledge, we learnt a lot about this insect. Fun time, great for kids as well.

We were a little sceptical when we first arrived but once inside were amazed. So many butterflies. Great for the budding photographer. We spent at least an hour there
