This facility is free to enter and has interactive displays about the local history of Kingaroy - great displays on the peanut industry with the first peanut thrasher that was invented in Australia and possibly internationally. Lovely locals share their knowledge... This is family friendly...

Attached to the Tourist Information Centre in Kingaroy is the Heritage Museum. We spent some time wandering around and looking at the exhibits. Certainly worth a look if you have some time to spare. Gave an insight into the history of the district.
