We love our stays at Taabinga Homestead. We've just returned from our sixth visit, having spent six nights in the "General Store"cottage. Hosts, Libby and Colin always make us so welcome. We keep returning for the peace, quiet,relaxing days and evenings, the abundant birdlife and sunsets all within an historic setting. Already booked our next stay and can't wait to go back...
We stayed one night in the "Single mens" quarters on our 39th anni. The place is graceful and magic, the quiet at night is so good its disturbing!
Colin and Libby made us breakfast in the old kitchen (without bacon) and it was still super Colin!

My wife and I recently had a two night stay in the cottage which was the single mens quarters . the hosts Colin and Libby were very friendly and welcoming and helped make the experience one to remember
The hoemstead in all ist glory is within easy driving range of both spectacular scenary of the Buyna mountains and the vineyards of the local region .

My husband and I stayed for two nights in one of the cottages on site. The cottage was clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. We chose the two night package which included breakfast and dinner daily. The hosts, Colin and Libby provided us with beautiful home cooked meals each day. Colin and Libby are very kind, sweet and are great hosts and they made our stay wonderful and memorable.
The homestead is beautiful and full of history and in a perfect quiet location. We would love to come and visit again and would recommend Taabinga to couples and families. Thank you to Colin and Libby for a wonderful weekend and we will see you again soon.
PS - Colin makes the best cooked mushrooms I have tasted!
Not too far to drive and near to vineyards and the Bunya Mountains makes this a great location for a few days, but the Homestead itself lends itself to relaxing for days on end! While we only stayed a couple of days, the kids want to go back for longer next time. We rented the singleman's hut and it was a creatively renovated cottage with enough room for two kids, a cot and two adults. With a fireplace and cosy atmosphere, the winter nights were warmly spent indoors. We had breakfast with our hosts, which was a highlight as they are both very hospitable and friendly, and particularly accommodating of small kids. There is plenty of serene lawns and gardens for the kids to explore and the whole property is extremely private. We will definitely be back.
Hired three of the cottages at Taabinga for Mum's 70th birthday getaway to the country as was her request. Perfect set ups with all things provided including wood for the fireplaces. Plenty of room for kids to roam and animals for them to find. Did all of our cooking and owners left you to your own devices once a very brief run down was conducted. For a family or group get together the homestead is ideal.
