We stopped here for a late lunch because we were hungry, and there aren't a lot of choices in Daintree Village. But it was a pleasant surprise.
This is an open-air restaurant where you order and pick up your food at a counter. You eat at a picnic table, and because it's open air, there are occasional flies (not too many). The menu has a lot of grilled choices, including the obligatory crocodile and kangaroo. But we all ordered barramundi. I had a barra-burger, which was very good. My wife had a grilled piece of barramundi, and the kids both had barramundi with sliced tropical fruit. The fruit was a very nice surprise - it included exotic things like black sapote and custard apple.
The freezer chest had homemade tropical ice cream. I tried the soursop. Not bad.
Not too expensive (for Australia), and a fun informal meal.
