“They really are the BEST!!”

It is the little extras that always make a difference and this company really makes the effort. You are welcomed with tea and coffee, the toilet facilities are spotless and worth a visit even if you don't feel like it just to inspect the decor.
Freddie the guide is full of knowledge of the area and his passion shines through in his presentation.
The lunchtime cruise throws in a free pie and drink when you return, nice surprise.
The garden setting is stunning and it located away from the ferry where the other operators sit waiting to grab the uninformed who are not aware of what awaits them a couple of kms away.
I did try one of the other cruises and honestly this one is far superior. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

“Wonderful adventure”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

This was a great trip up the daintree river with an experienced and knowledgeable driver. We went on the Sunset Cruise and the nibbles were tasty and fresh and the owners were friendly. I would recommend this trip to everyone although we didn't see a crocodile I believe there is a better chance when the tide is low but we enjoyed the ambiance and the company. What a great, safe and lovely adventure

“Very Relaxing”

A fantastic 1 hour river cruise. Very relaxing and very informative. We saw 2 large crocs and another 2 smaller ones. Friendly staff and complimentary slushie was great to cool down with. Would highly recommend this.

“Informative and interesting hour on the water.”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

$25 doesn't get you much these days and we were a bit skeptical about a croc spotting tour, but it was rubbish weather and we needed something to do.

Our hour long tour was actually really good value for money as we saw lots of crocs, a few females, a few juveniles and a big male that got scared off the river bank by a tinnie going past the first time we got to it, but it was there again on our way back so we got a nice close look.

Our guide (sorry, it wasn't Bruce and I've forgotten his name) had some really interesting info about crocs, the river system and, a surprise to us, we also now have a fantastic appreciation for the importance of mangroves. We saw a few other animals including a Nankeen Night Heron and considering this was all in 60 minutes we were pretty pleased.

The free coffee afterwards was a nice touch and we got to talk to Bruce who is an interesting chap and passionate about crocodiles. As others have said the shop is, mehhh, and we'd seen plenty of tat in Cairns. Would have liked to see some books on crocs and the local area.

Only real criticism is the guide didn't really conclude the tour - he just sort of stopped talking about 5 minutes from the end, we docked and just kinda shuffled off as the next group came down the ramp. Not a sackable offence but was a bit weird. We're glad we went!

“Great day out for all the family!”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We booked onto the 9.30am cruise, on arrival we were offered complimentary tea/coffee and the kids had slushies! We were departing at low tide and we got to see many crocs of various ages, from only a few months old upto about 9 years... we also saw the the frog mouthed owl, a beautiful brightly coloured Kingfisher and some beautiful yellow hibiscus flowers which we found out were edible... would definitely recommend - very relaxed pace and Bruce was a great skipper, his local knowledge is second to none. We had perfect weather and the whole experience was just fantastic.
