“Glad we visisted”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

Was a very interesting experience but was very difficult to digest so much information in a couple of hours. Really enjoyed all the information but would prefer to be a tad briefer so more can be read.

“Very Interesting!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

My husband didn't go in but I found that the Centre was very interesting; lots of history about James Cook, the convent [which the Centre used to be] and lots of 'stuff' from locals about their town.

“Interesting and worth a look”

I enjoyed this more than the museum; it was set out chronologically and had intering recent history; not just Capt Cook!

My young children really enjoyed seeing the implements that where utilized "back in the old days" so to speak.

“Well worth an hour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

I spent an hour here, and was glad I went. But I do love liitle museums!

If you like history I would advise it. The British Museum it ain't, but this is Cooktown. Worth the price of admission just to see the anchor.
