The coffe was great but the service was slow. Some of our group had to get their money back after waiting for 30 minutes for a cup of coffee. Don't go ther if the places is busy.

Capers is located in a prime position. The seating is comfortable and the food is tasty. It is often full. The place is vey modern looking and there is plenty of space to sit outside undercover of umbrellas. The Park is just accross the road.

The cafe is a much needed gem in Cooktown and I am so happy that it has arrived on the scene. While the menu is somewhat limited, the eggs and bacon are absolutely fine and the coffee surprisingly good. The only place to have brekky in Cooktown.

The cafe is located on the main street of Cooktown and offers a wide range of breakfast. I liked the location and the benches outside.

I lived in Cooktown for 5 years and dreamt of a fresh, funky place with views of the Endeavour where I could sit and enjoy a cuppa and read the paper. Now Cooktown finally has that.Capers has friendly staff, great view and delicious food and comfy seating. A fantastic addition to such a pretty, seaside town!
