It is attached to the Cosmos Centre, and has leaflets etc, but focuses on the paid tours. The staff were helpful

the staff were very helpful and filled us in on what there was to see and do in the area. We took them upon a number of their suggestions of places to visit.

Info-Cosmos, Manager at Charleville Visitor Information Centre, responded to this review, January 21, 2014
Thank you very much for your kind comments. We all love our job and our town and it obviously shows with your '5 star' rating. You would have seen more than 5 stars too if you visited the Cosmos Observatory, where you would have seen a number of objects such as planets and star clusters in our clear (most of the time), outback night skies.

“You book at the Charleville info centre for the BILBIES EXPERIENCE”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

The bilbies are australian small furry animals with big ears and a longish nose, doesnt sound too great but they are delightfull to watch.. Being nocturnal the experience starts with a DVD and helpful information about their endangered status and then you spend time watching the Bilbies antics. Great for family groups, grey nomads and other tourists !!!!. It is about one hour long and you can purchase some items that raise money for the program as well if you want to.
