Owner description: Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours takes you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation. The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103. The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!) There are up to twelve two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

Was a great experience for those who like a thrill.

Although there is some standing around and waiting for your turn, it is breathtaking to take in the scenery. On some platforms you can zip-line with a partner which also makes it pretty fun and unique. On the final platform you have the chance to go upside down which is crazy fun :)

A little bit expensive for the 2 hrs but well worth the fun if you are visiting the Rainforest.

The Daintree Rainforest was beautiful and the guides were very nice (you could tell they were trying very hard to make it exciting) but, if you're seeking an adventure, look elsewhere. The zip lines are short and there isn't anything particularly thrilling about this.

Definitely not what I expected. there were only 4 very short zip lines andour speed was controlled by the guides. They tried to bring some excitement into the 2 hours of the tour, but it was very average. We did bring a Gopro and got some fun shots and they had helmets available with the mounts in place. The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable.

What a wonderful experience! My arm was twisted to come along to the jungle surfing. I wasn't feeling that super confident but I couldn't stop thanking my partner for pushing me to go because I ended up having the best fun out of the whole trip!

The staff were extremely entertaining and polite and surprisingly very knowledge about the area and environment around house. It was jungle surfing and a great history lesson rolled into one!

What I liked about this experience was that there were no hidden cost or werent pushed to buy any products etc. they have no camera facilities so therefore you were not encouraged to pay a hefty fee for a picture and the staff were more than willing to take pictures with your camera for you (finding this very rare these days!). they allow you to strap your own camera to your harness and consistantly encourage you to take happy snaps along the way.

Overall, a great experience. It was lots of fun, great staff and value for money! My only negative comment would be I wished it went for longer!

Sorry guys $99 for this is just way too much. Firstly I figured I would be in control of the movement of the harness from lookout to lookout (of which there are only 4) so i could take my time or zoom as fast as i wanted to. Secondly as others have said 90% of the whole thing is just waiting for the people in front to move via the cable/harness from point to point. If you were the only person there the whole thing would be over in 5 minutes (assuming you did not receive the commentary from the staff at each lookout). The staff by the way were great and enthusiastic but the problem is the whole thing is not that exciting and time spent sliding along the cables between lookouts way too short.
