Owner description: Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours takes you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation. The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103. The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!) There are up to twelve two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

“Wow! What a way to see the jungle!”

Staff were awesome, the experience was fun, exhilirating and worth every cent! The only downside is that the two hours seems to disappear way too quickly. Nothing too scary at all so just relax and enjoy your canopy ride! Big on safety, personalised (or at least it felt that way) commentary that reflected our interests, lots of humour and even a bit of exercise on the walk up to the first platform.

“Great Fun”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

The staff are friendly, charismatic and fastidious when it comes to both yours and their safety. The actual tour feels like it only lasts half an hour because it is that exhilarating. As someone who is afraid of heights I highly recommend it. It is scary at first, but by the last two you are throwing yourself off and going upside down.

“Very friendly and relaxed.”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Myself and my partner were lucky enough to be on a morning tour with no other people so we had the zip lines and the two wonerfull guides to ourselves. From the momment you get picked up till you are dropped of the friendly staff make you feel very welcome and i think that the staff were a majore part of what made the tour enjoyable. It is a very safe way to see the beauty of the rainforest and the staff gave us many interesting facts. Loved the whole experience.

“So glad we trid it”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

We had heard about 'Jungle surfing' after picking up a leaflet at our accomodation. Right from the point of arrival the guys were extremely friendly and hepful. We had a talk about what was going to happen and were fitted with our harnesses etc. They were serious about safety, but this was delivered ith great humour.
The experience, although a little scary at first, was amazing and the guys were entertaining and reassuring. We never really felt in any danger despite the excitement.
This attraction is well worth a visit. Thank you Ian and co, if we ever return to Cape Trib we will be back for more surfing for sure!

“Fantastic, unique experience”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Great, unique experience for all the family. Challenging and a bit scary, taking the kids out of their comfort zone. Great, friendly relaxed group of lads running the session but all of them were reassuringly professional and took safety etc very seriously yet still we all managed to have a laugh and have fun. How often do you get to glide through a rain forest like a monkey?
Highly recommended.
