“World Heritage at its Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

The last of the great rainforests, and it is perfectly safe. For any overseas friend, you will not be eaten by a croc, bitten by a snake or carried away by a giant possum. Come and see some of the best mother nature has on offer.

“Spend a few days”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Our family just spent 3 nights in the Daintree National Park and i cannot recommend it enough. I do not understand why people just come for the day as there is so much to see. The rainforest is beautiful as are the empty beaches. I think that driving up for a day trip you miss out on all that it has to offer. The hotels are maybe a bit basic compared to what you get in Port Douglas but it is all really beautiful!

“Paradise in Aus”

The oldest rainforest in the world. This place has everything amazing flora and fauna. Walks from very easy and wheelchair access to more difficult hikes. Beautiful beaches.

“Not worth the 45 minute drive and the $23 ferry trip”

Unless you have a purely botanical/scientific interest in the ecology of the area, I wouldn't bother. Nothing spectacular that you haven't already seen as you drive up the coast.
