“Awesome night out for dinner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

I'm up from Melbourne where pasta and pizza is like peas and carrots! But I really enjoyed the atmosphere and quality of service at la Vera pasta and pizza! I had both and enjoyed the selection of wines available, the whole front of the restaurant is opened up looking out to the beach and you have the option to sit outside as well!

“Don't Visit Bribie Island and Miss The Great Pizza at La Vera”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

We live on Bribie and love everything Bribie has to offer. But one of its gems is the little Pizza Place with class, called La Vera. You will find it near the Jetty and close to the Post Office (opposite the park). We have tried a few Pizzas but one we love and regularly order is the New Orleans. It has everything and one can imagine the vibrance of the real New Orleans as you eat this full, rich Pizza. Service is always great, the staff are great and it is a restaurant we hope survives the tough economic times. We wish the owners and staff every success and hope you prosper on our beautiful Bribie Island. When visiting, holidaying or living on Bribie do give La Vera a go. I am sure you will come back, and back as it really is a great place to eat out.

“Good tucker”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2012

We have dined at La Vera twice in the last month in the evening. On the first occasion we had a large pizza between 2 adults which was an adequate serve. We chose a 1/2 1/2 pizza and the fillings were delicious and fresh. On the second visit on a Saturday nite I had pasta with chorizo sausage $16.50 and it was a huge meal for a lady. My partner chose a large pizza - Volcano I think and he managed to devour it all but he does have a big appetite. The total bill for both visits was under $50 which included a beverage each. I would recommend this restaurant and I am looking foward to my next visit. I thought it was value for money compared to other eating places on the island. They also seemed to be doing a good takeaway service.
